Overview

What to Expect

Shrikhand Kailash is the highest trekking peak in Himachal Pradesh accessible without technical climbing — a 5,155m natural Shivalinga that draws both pilgrims and mountaineers. The route is relentlessly steep, the altitude unforgiving, and the final push to the summit one of the most demanding days in Himalayan trekking. It is also one of the most transcendent.

Trek Highlights

  • ★The 72-foot natural Shivalinga at 5,155m — highest in Himachal
  • ★The Bhim Dwar rock arch at 4,800m — a natural gateway to the summit
  • ★Crossing the Kali Ghati snowfield — the crux of the route
  • ★Views of the Kullu valley and the Pir Panjal from the summit
